Shipping & Pickup Policy
At Shelf Love, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient shipping services to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time. Please review our policy below for important details on processing, delivery, and in-store pickup.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days.
Orders placed on weekends, during non-business hours, or holidays will be processed the next open business day.
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has shipped.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer several shipping options to accommodate your needs:
Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within 5–10 business days
Expedited Shipping: Estimated delivery within 2–5 business days
Overnight Shipping: Estimated delivery within 1 business day (available for select locations)
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on method and destination.
Please note that when placing orders that contain a pre-order, your order will either be held until all items arrive in stock or you can opt to be charged for separate shipping on the pre-order book.
Expedited and overnight shipping will incur additional fees.
4. International Shipping
We ship books to Canada.
We no longer ship books outside of North America. It is too expensive and we made the difficult decision that we can no longer support overseas shipping. Please use a service like Stackry or Ship7.
Important notes:
Delivery typically ranges from 7–30 business days, depending on customs and location.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
5. In-Store Pickup
Live nearby or just want to skip the wait?
Choose "In-Store Pickup" at checkout to pick up your order at our Austell, GA location.
You’ll receive a pickup notification email when your order is ready—please wait for this before coming by.
Orders must be picked up within 10 days of notification unless otherwise arranged. Or items will be return to stock and no refunds will be issued.
Please bring a copy of your confirmation email and/or a photo ID.
6. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, contact us at shop@shelfloveatlanta.com within 2 days of the expected delivery date.
Damaged in Transit:
If your books are damaged during shipping, please note that we can only assist if the shipping box arrives intact. Be sure to provide photos of the undamaged box so we can help determine next steps.
Carrier Damage:
If the damage was caused by USPS or the shipping carrier, you will need to file a shipping claim directly with the carrier.
Lost in Transit:
Once an order has been shipped and tracking has been provided, Shelf Love is not responsible for packages that are lost in transit. Customers must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier using the tracking number provided. Refunds will not be issued for lost items.
7. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout! Shelf Love is not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
If you catch an error, email us immediately—we’ll do our best to correct it before the order ships, though we cannot guarantee changes after processing.
