About Shelf Love

Shelf Love is an independent bookstore founded and owned by USA Today bestselling indie author Leah C. Taylor (LC Taylor) and built around one simple belief: Indie books deserve to be seen, celebrated, and put into readers’ hands.

What began as a romance-focused bookshop has grown into a home for all things indie. Our shelves are packed with signed books, special and exclusive editions, hidden gems, curated book boxes, and bookish merch you probably didn’t know you needed until you saw it.

And we’re just getting started.

In 2027, Shelf Love is getting bigger. We’re expanding to make room for even more indie authors, more books, and a much wider variety of genres. Romance will always have a special place on our shelves, but our next chapter means growing our selection of horror, thrillers, fantasy, paranormal, women’s fiction, young adult, zero-spice reads, and more.

Our goal? To become a bookstore where INDIE is the genre. A place where readers can walk in looking for something new and leave having discovered an author they can’t believe they weren’t already reading.

But Shelf Love is more than shelves full of books. We’re a community for readers and authors alike, bringing book people together through author signings, book clubs, craft nights, reader events, and plenty of beautifully bookish chaos.
